Day 8:
The day of the wedding, August 3rd, we had some time in the morning, before we had to head over to the castle and start getting ready. From the Clonmore Lodge Farmhouse where we stayed the night of the 2nd, we headed again northward to the Clifs of Moher, but not before looking around the town of Quilty, county Clare, which both Ernie and I agreed is the ideal retirement spot, and to spend some time with the pony on the property, who just wanted some friends!

Clonmore Lodge is in the town of Quilty, which is just breathtakingly beautiful. Peaceful, the kind of horizon-to-horizon green you can only get in Ireland.
On the property of the Clonmore Lodge, was a very friendly horse, who just followed me arround all morning, while I was taking pictures of the scenery and flowers. Once everyone else came out, he had a great time playing with them.
Then it was off to the Cliffs of Moher. Known internationally for it's stunning beauty.
Then, of course, we took off for Cloghan Castle. While everyone was arriving, I took a few hundred pictures of the castle.
For more pictures of the castle, see the link above. After wandering around, of course, we got married!
