| A couple of days ago, on his 'Pledge Across America' tour, George W. Bush, 43rd president of the United States of America, the man we elected for office and who is now leading the whole planet in a war, made the following statement:
There is an old saying in Tennessee, I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee, that says "Fool me once... Shame on... ... Shame on You.... ... Ifulmuh can't be fooled again"
Let's recap that statement:

Jon (2002-09-24): Welcome to the face of American diplomacy in the 21st century. Gore is looking pretty damn good right now huh?
Erik (2002-09-24): Was there ever a time Gore didn't look better than Bush? I didn't think so.
Erik (2002-09-24): And you know, the thing I'm trying to say in this article, is that I don't think of Bush as an idiot just because he doesn't understand world politics, domestic security, etc. I think Bush is an idiot and incompetant, because the man cannot make out a clear sentance, let alone international strategy.
Lynn (2002-09-30): Seems to me that Bush is pushing for this new war so that he can finish what "daddy" didn't, and then turn to daddy and say "See, I'm better than you". A familial one-uppance. I don't believe that the larger picture is more important to him than this. I don't think we have a candidate for governor, either.
Erik (2002-10-01): Maybe. Or maybe this is desperate ploy for reelection #2. #1 being the war on terrorism. Since we couldn't find the terrorists, we'll just go after bad guys.
Holly (2002-10-11): There are a lot of people out there who don't have much of an education, so you can sort of see why they'd say dumb things, have difficulty understanding or remembering famous phrases, or make lame decisions based on a lack of information. But here is a man who has received a degree from one of the country's best institutions of higher learning, and he *still* says dumb things, can't pronounce everyday words, and makes very, VERY bad decisions. We actually have a president of below average intelligence. It's been a long time since that's happened. George Dubya is such an idiot.
Sebastian (2006-04-14): I here by quote D.Adams... "It is a well-known fact that those people who must want to rule people are, ipso facto, those least suited to do it... anyone who is capable of getting themselves made President should on no account be allowed to do the job." ... And you can hardly argue with me on this one.
