Saturday, Vanessa and I headed back out to the ranch, to visit Merlin, Angel and the
rest of the gang. Merlin is from a breed of smaller horses, so as his playmates grow up,
and larger than him, he get's younger playmates. When we went out, we had a hard time
finding Merlin, as he had been moved, in with a much younger horse, with a large 50x50
foot pasture, just the two of them. Very nice.

The new horse is a sweet thing, loves to be scratched on the jaw,
and is too young to eat big chunks of carrot, so I had to break off
small slivers of carrot for him.

I tried to feed both of them by letting them nibble on their own carrots.
This was partially successful, but Merlin was more interested in hay, and
his new friend kept biting off more than he could chew!
